Adele collapses backstage after Vegas show
The superstar recently had an accident after a performance as part of her Las Vegas residency.
The British singer has been captivating audiences at her Vegas shows for months now, with clips from the show making their way to social media, giving the rest of us serious FOMO (fear of missing out).

From quirky one-liners to gender reveals and fighting for her fans, we have grown even more fond of Adele - although we didn't think that was even possible.
While Adele has been doing the most to put on a one-of-a-kind show, the singer has revealed that she has had some health struggles during her residency.

A few months ago she revealed that she was suffering from jock itch, which was caused by her wearing Spanx and sweating a lot, but recently the singer told her audience that she had a bad medical flare-up that left her on the floor backstage.
They (my production team) picked my whole body up off the floor.'

During the show, she also had to take a seat in order to rest her sciatica while performing.
According to the Mayo Clinic: "Sciatica most often occurs when a herniated disk or an overgrowth of bone puts pressure on part of the nerve. This causes inflammation, pain, and often some numbness in the affected leg."

Although Adele has mentioned that this is chronic pain she's been living with for years, her focus on her physical health and her incredible weight loss journey has improved her condition immensely.
Seeing as she is performing weekend after weekend, standing for hours, we can only imagine the strain and pain she must be going through during one of these flare-ups.
