Accidentally sent a WhatsApp with a few mistakes? You might soon be able to change that with the platform's new updates.
Instant messaging giant WhatsApp is reportedly working on its next big update, which will let users edit messages after sending them.
According to the independent WhatsApp reporting blog, WABetaInfo, the feature is currently in development.

WABetaInfo also discovered that this feature would be released as a beta version on WhatsApp Desktop.
According to reports, some beta testers of the app were able to have their first try at the feature.
The new feature will work by clicking and holding on to the sent message. A list of options will then pop up, with the edit button being part of the list.
“It will be possible to edit a message within 15 minutes, and those messages will be marked with an ‘edited’ label within the message bubble,” the blog reported.

WABetaInfo first announced the update five years ago, but WhatsApp discarded the claims only to announce now that the update will happen.
It has yet to be confirmed when this feature will be available to all users.
