What makes a marriage last?
Updated | By Philicity Reeken
Dating is messy, love is complicated… but some couples really make it work. In the latest episode of Love, Dating & Chaos, I sit down with my colleague Gerda de Sousa to find out what keeps her marriage going strong.

You know, I’m always talking about dating and how messy it is, and love - and how messy that is too. But really, there’s also a silver lining. And that, of course, is marriage.
Someone I look up to, who’s done really well at this marriage thing, is my colleague at Jacaranda FM, Gerda de Sousa.
I want to figure out: how does she it?
It’s been many years, they’re still very much in love, they’ve got a kid… I just want to know how.
Because sometimes, you’ve got to learn from the people who are in the trenches.
(Not that marriage is a trench. Anyway, moving on.)

In Episode 5, I handed the mic to my daughters to ask what they really think about my love life. Divorce, dating, and some very honest answers from the people who know me best.
