WATCH: Man's bungee cord snaps during 10-storey jump
A tourist was knocked unconscious after a bungee jump in Thailand went horribly wrong.

Mike, a tourist from Hong Kong, plunged into the water below him moments after the incident.

He allegedly suffered injuries to the left side of his body, his chest, and his lungs. He was taken by staff to a nearby hospital.
During the video, the man can be seen jumping from a crane with the bungee cord tied around his ankles and his arms spread wide.
As the bungee cord pulls tight at the end of the jump, the rope snapped, leaving the tourist to free-fall into the water. This knocked him unconscious.

He recovered consciousness underwater and was able to swim to the surface, where staff helped him out of the lake.
After the incident, the man was taken to hospital, where he was treated for injuries to his chest and lungs.
