WATCH: Lion shocks restaurant goers with surprise visit
Tourists at a restaurant in Pilanesberg were treated to an interesting encounter when an unexpected guest arrived.
After a group of young male lions were wandering around at the Pilanesberg National Park in the North West, one of them tried entering a restaurant filled with tourists.
Video footage shared by Latest Sightings shows the young lion standing in front of the restaurant door at the Pilanesberg Centre, looking curious.

According to sales representative Sonja Lerm, this is not the first time lions have come to visit the centre.
Lerm was standing outside of the restaurant at the time the lion visited the restaurant. She advised others that would find themselves in similar situations to remain calm.

The restaurant was filled with tourists, who got more than they bargained for while using the restaurant as a pit stop during a safari.
