A real-life 'Squid Game' is coming to Netflix!

Netflix has announced the casting for a new 'Squid Game' reality show.

Netflix has announced that they will be releasing a real-life version of the critically-acclaimed South Korean series, 'Squid Game'.

'Squid Game: The Challenge' is said to be a reality competition series based on the original series. The reality show will include challenges that are inspired by the original series, as well as a few new additions.
Netflix announced that the winner is set to receive a $4.56-million (about R73-million) prize. The show will include 456 players from all around the world.

The original 'Squid Game' series sees contestants compete in a series of schoolyard games that will kill them if they lose, all in the hopes of winning a cash prize. Netflix did assure contenders that they won't be killed off as in the original series.
The applications are currently open and South Africans are welcome to apply.
