The Queen posts to Instagram for the first time

The Queen has posted a photo on the official royal family Instagram account for the first time.
Instagram has a new Queen!
The Queen was applauded by a number of people after sharing an image of a letter from the 19th inventor and mathematician Charles Babbage to Prince Albert.
It is the first time the Queen has posted anything on Instagram. The Queen used an iPad to post the photo when she looked at exhibits in the Science Museum’s summer exhibition.

The Queen's said: "In the letter, Babbage told Queen Victoria and Prince Albert about his invention, the Analytical Engine, upon which the first computer programmes were created by Ada Lovelace, a daughter of Lord Byron.
"Today, I had the pleasure of learning about children's computer coding initiatives and it seems fitting to me that I publish this Instagram post at the Science Museum, which has long championed.
