Police in Colombo, Sri Lanka, arrested the current Mrs World on charges of assault.
This after last year's winner and current Mrs World, Caroline Jurie, snatched the crown off Pushpika De Silva's head moments after she won the title.

Video footage of the glitzy night shows the crowning moment and straight after, the pageant's 2019 winner and Mrs World 2020 takes the microphone and says: "I have a small request, as for the Mrs. World Inc., there's a rule that you'll have to be married, and not divorced. So, I'm taking my first step saying that the crown goes to the first runner-up."
Jurie was the previous year's Mrs Sri Lanka and thereafter also Mrs World in a competition organised by a Californian company.
De Silva had to receive treatment in hospital after the incident.
"We have arrested Jurie and her partner Chula Manamendra in connection with a charge of assault and wilful damage to property at the Nelum Pokuna theater," Senior police officer Ajith Rohana said.
