New study finds that vaping is not a good aid to quit smoking

Many people believe that vaping helps them, but this new study says otherwise…

Researchers have found in a recent study that using E-cigarettes led to less successful attempts to quit smoking than other cessation aids.

Another finding was that E-cigarettes do not have any effect on relapsing into tobacco use.

The research was conducted over 12 months and tested a variety of cessation aids such as nicotine patches.

Among the people who stopped smoking reportedly 21% used nicotine replacements, and 64% just stopped smoking without any substitutes. 

One of the researchers did remark that a person’s mind plays an important role in quitting and he had not met a person who quit that did not have a strong commitment.
