Criticism over how government funds are being spent has been soaring in media outlets lately. This also comes after a massive uproar about an R22-million glow-in-the-dark flag pole that is said to be built.
Former DA leader, Mmusi Maimane, also tweeted about an R10-million "statue" that was built by the Sol Plaatje Municipality in Kimberley back in 2018.
