Most schools ready for teaching and learning – Are you sending your child?

Many parents are anxious to send their children to school
during the national lockdown.
It's all systems go for grades 7 and 12 pupils to return to school on Monday, with the Department of Basic Education saying that 95% of the country's schools are ready for teaching and learning.
This was confirmed by Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga during a media briefing on Sunday.
“We can now say with confidence that about 95% of our schools have been ably provided with the Covid-19 related imperatives,” said Motshekga.
