Marc Lottering pays tribute to actress Shaleen Surtie-Richards

The South African television and film industry has lauded the skill of legendary actress Shaleen Surtie-Richards.
‘Nenna’ was a household name for South Africans and we’re sad to hear of her untimely death.
Shaleen Surtie-Richards' family has confirmed that the beloved actress has passed away. Surtie-Richards was a South African television, stage, and film actress.

She is best known for her role in 'Egoli: Place of Gold' as the much-loved Ester ‘Nenna’ Williamse. She also appeared in the 1988 film, 'Fiela se Kind', 'Generations', and most-recently in Quanita Adams’ film, ‘Swirl’.
Her good friend, Marc Lottering, paid tribute to her on Breakfast with Martin Bester by remembering the best moments he had with her.

She was an actress with an incredible sense of humour and was known to say things as it is, followed with laughter from those around her.
