“Ma'am, can you give me protection from yourself?” - SARS head of IT

Head of IT at SARS's answers in a recent interview left the country baffled.
SARS's Digital Information Systems and Technologies chief officer, Mmamathe Makhekhe-Mokhuane, made headlines on Wednesday following an interview on SABC.
The country was left confused after watching the video, where Makhekhe-Mokhuane failed to give coherent answers to questions about SARS’ crumbling IT infrastructure.
Makhekhe-Mokhuane stressed the financial challenges which cause SARS from working at its full potential.

When asked a question by the TV presenter, Makhekhe-Mokhuane replied by saying, “Ma'am, can you give me protection from yourself?”, which left everyone confused.
Martin Bester could not believe his eyes after watching the video and says: "Incoherent is probably the best description.”
