The one-hour special will take a look at how the film became a global sensation and landmark Christmas movie.
Diane Swayer will also sit down with the cast for exclusive, never-before-seen interviews about the film.
According to the Independent, the much anticipated special will take a look at behind-the-scenes secrets and the film’s famous scenes while examining how the COVID-19 pandemic “refocused the ways we love and connect”.

A sneak peek into the special shows Dame Emma Thompson as she recalls watching the film for the first time.
“Hugh came up behind me as we were walking out and said ‘is that the most psychotic thing we’ve ever been in?'”
'The Laughter & Secrets of Love Actually: 20 Years Later – A Diane Sawyer Special', will be released on Wednesday, November 30, at 3am SA time on ABC.
