Loadshedding hits as Fikile Mbalula addresses SA power crisis
A video shared on social media shows a power outage occurring during Fikile Mbalula's speech about South Africa's power crisis at an ANC Energy Dialogue at the University of Johannesburg.
The ANC gathered stakeholders for a diagnosis of the problems at Eskom and efforts towards immediate workable solutions to solve South Africa's power crisis.
While ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula addressed attendees at the conference, loadshedding was implemented, leaving the ANC member in darkness.

According to SABC News, Mbalula says they have had “positive engagements with energy experts from across the globe and at home to find meaningful solutions”.

"We engage robustly in ideas. It was sometimes not a nice debate because they took to the streets," Mbalula said right at the moment the power failure occurred.
