After the implementation of stage six, some listeners shared ways they deal with the current loadshedding issues.
Listeners give advice on dealing with loadshedding:
South Africans are now being forced to deal with even more power outages after stage six loadshedding was announced. This will mean longer outages that put a strain on cellphone towers and local electricity systems.

Most South Africans have come to know loadshedding during stage two and stage four outages. Stage six, however, will have an even greater impact with the prospect of six hours of blackouts per day, putting more strain on economic operations and the daily lives of South Africans.
On Wednesday, Martin Bester and the team discussed ways in which South Africans can deal with the new stage six implementation. Some listeners shared ways they are dealing with loadshedding and the preventative measures they have implemented. Many of these included the use of UPS devices, solar power, and gas.

Here are some other ways you can deal with loadshedding, according to Bussiness Insider:
- Fill up thermos, hot water bottles, and other objects that can keep water warm.
- Pre-book your takeaway orders to prevent loadshedding delays on food deliveries.
- Ensure that you charge all of your electronics in a timely manner.
- Keep track of loadshedding in your area and know your loadshedding schedule.
- Plan on not having internet or network service even if you have a UPS device. Ensure you have a good book, board games or downloaded content to keep yourself busy.
