Letshego Zulu fearlessly walking to greatness
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
Letshego Zulu has been dubbed as the epitome of strength and grace by many South Africans.
In July 2016, the biokineticist, and adventurer lost her husband, racing driver Gugu Zulu while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
A year after her husband’s death, she returned to Tanzania to summit the mountain in honour of her husband and to the country’s delight, finished what they started.
On Thursday morning she is a Fearless woman at the Jacaranda FM and Chela-fer’s Women’s Business Breakfast at the Maslow Hotel at Time Square in Pretoria.

Zulu admits to Martin Bester, ”You wear so many different hats as a mom. You’re expected to do everything and one should actually embrace failure. How will you ever grow as a person.”
“What is the one thing that has kept you going?” Asks Martin Bester
“My belief in God,” Zulu answers, “Prayer is the one thing that got me going. It is about you standing up and continuing.”
The Jacaranda FM and Chela-fer Women’s Breakfast saw incredible women such as Zelda le Grange, Amy Kleinhans-Curd, Jo-ann Strauss and Dr. Rolene Strauss talk about what inspires them and what drives them to greatness.
