Legendary actor John Kani excited about new 'The Lion King' show in Pretoria!
Legendary actor John Kani, who is well known for his roles in 'Black Panther' and 'The Lion King', joined Breakfast with Martin Bester for a chat.
Legendary actor, writer, and director John Kani is one of South Africa's most loved personalities.
Kani starred as T'Chaka in the award-winning movie 'Blank Panther'. The movie made a positive impact on South Africa - especially after his character in the movie spoke isiXhosa.
In 2019, Kani also starred in the hit remake of 'The Lion King'. He was the powerful voice of Rafiki.

Kani joined Breakfast with Martin Bester to share his incredible journey in the industry with us.
Kani also shared some exciting news about a very unique event happening in December. Disney's 'The Lion King', which is currently on the circuit, will now be presented as a concert, with the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra playing live.
