The South African Mint finally settled the issue, revealing which side of the coin the head is...
South Africans have been debating this past week which side of a coin the head is.
The SA Mint came across the debate and decided to weigh in.

They revealed that the side with the coat of arms is the head of a coin, and the side with the animal is the tail.
