Francois van Coke and his wife Lauren shared the happy news on day 40 of the national lockdown!
For a musician who has been touring for more than two decades, the lockdown has been a change for Francois van Coke... but he is loving it!
He loves family time and recently confessed to Martin Bester that he loves being home with his wife, Lauren, and daughter, Alex Lila. The lockdown has also seen Francois van Coke shared some exciting news on 5 May - his family is getting a new addition.
The exciting baby news spread far and wide on social media. Fellow musicians like Karen Zoid, Majozi, Demi Lee Moore, and Karlien van Jaarsveld shared their excitement on Van Coke’s Instagram post.

The musician said: "Big celebrations today! Lauren’s birthday and the fam is getting bigger. In times like these ... we learn to love again."
His love for his family is evident in almost everything he does - including his music. Francois van Coke wrote a song, with the help of his good friend Karen Zoid, for his daughter, Alex Lila.
