Elma Smit surprises Breakfast with Martin Bester with goodies from Japan!
Elma Smit was in Japan for the Rugby World Cup - and she shared some of the special moments with Breakfast with Martin Bester!
It was a year filled with World Cups. Earlier this year, Elma Smit was in England for the Cricket World Cup as a cricket insider.
For the past three months, Smit has been in Japan for the Rugby World Cup. Smit posted her daily routines on her social media platforms - and she met some sports legends while touring Japan.
Smit met up with former Springbok Bryan Habana.
Elma interviewed tennis champion Naomi Osaka.
Osaka is a Japanese professional tennis player. She is the reigning champion in women's singles at the Australian Open. Osaka has been ranked No. 1 in the world.

On Wednesday, Smit made her return to South Africa and was extremely excited to be back at the Jacaranda FM studios.
On Thursday, Smit was back on air after almost three months - and she brought the team some breakfast snacks from Japan.
"I couldn't travel too much because I had to put out a show with content every day. Tokyo is extremely busy - the buses are always so full."
"Japan is known for strange snacks and sweets. They even have wasabi Kit Kats! What is very popular in Japan is wasabi nuts - it's addictive."
