Ellen's long-time DJ and friend, 'tWitch', dies at 40

His death was confirmed by his wife Allison Holker Boss.
The 'Ellen DeGeneres Show''s former DJ, Stephen 'tWitch' Boss, has died at the age of 40 after alleged suicide.
According to People, his wife Allison Holker Boss confirmed the tragic news.
"He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans," said Boss

Many celebrities, including Ellen herself, shared their condolences and sadness over the tragic incident.
"I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children - Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia," Ellen wrote in her tweet.

According to TMZ, the former DJ's wife frantically ran into an LAPD station on Tuesday as Stephen had left home without his car, which was reportedly unlike him.

It was confirmed that Boss was later found at an LA hotel with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
