Devi Sankaree Govender catches Tshwane Metro Police officer ‘in the act’

Award-winning investigative journalist Devi Sankaree Govender joined Breakfast with Martin Bester to share what happened to her in Pretoria.
Devi Sankaree Govender is no ordinary journalist. She joined the 'Carte Blanche' team in 2002. The award-winning investigative journalist has spent more than 26 years in the media industry and hasn’t looked back since. She is now the host of her own investigative television show, 'The Devi Show', on e.TV on Thursdays at 22:00.
The seasoned journalist joined Breakfast with Martin Bester on Wednesday morning.

Devi told Martin Bester: “The #TheDeviTeam was driving out of Pretoria when we were stopped by the Tshwane Metro Police officer. It seems that the Tshwane Metro Police officer insisted one is required to carry 20 litres of sanitser in every vehicle and three people in one vehicle was ‘over the limit’."
Devi continues: “I’m sitting at the back in the vehicle with tinted windows. I heard the conversation between my producer and the officer. I rolled down my window and the officer got such a shock!”

Devi urged people to be vigilant, especially in Gauteng, as this could happen to anyone.
Breakfast with Martin Bester reached out to Tshwane Metro Police, but has received no communication.
