Bonang Matheba recently announced her collaboration with New York fashion brand Steve Madden on a newly released shoe and handbag range.
The 'Being Bonang' star revealed that this collaboration is "long overdue".

“Two years ago, on a very Bonang year, I was talking about designing a shoe collection. I met with a shoe designer in New York, we spoke, and I had dreams and aspirations, but obviously, Covid happened. And then the beginning of this year, I got a call from Steve Madden while I was in New York. I met with the team there, then I came home and started discussions with the South African team,” Matheba said.
The idea behind this collaboration started in 2019 when the 'B-force' (Bonang's fans) tweeted that they deserve a Steve Madden and Bonang collaboration.

Matheba moved to New York in 2020 to expand her already successful career and start her work on future collaborations.
Now, two years later, the media personality's fans are finally getting what they have been waiting for.
