Advocate Glynnis Breytenbach has taken South Africa by storm after she grilled private prison company G4S over the escape of the infamous 'Facebook Rapist' Thabo Bester.
On Monday, Breytenbach spoke to Martin Bester about the G4S parliament sitting and what she calls the country's "Hollywood escape".

She started off by saying, "This whole story is outrageous."
According to the former NPA prosecutor, this story is extremely deep-rooted and "goes all the way to the top".

She told Martin Bester that Thabo Bester's escape could not have been done without many people involved. She believes that many people in high positions could have been involved.
"This escape could not have been planned quickly and needed a very big budget.|
"G4S has breached their contract on so many levels", and the worst part, she added, is that "it takes R40 million a month to run that prison".
"There were two officials who did an amazing job, but the rest did very little."

According to Breytenbach, the Minister of Police, Bheki Cele himself was “batting eyelids” during this case.
"If he had any integrity, he would resign," she said.
Besides Bester escaping from prison and police forces taking more than a year to catch him, "the police also completely ignored the survivors who were raped. They had no support."
When asked about the future of Bester and his accomplice, Dr. Nandipha Magudumana, Breytenbach said that "they should spend the rest of their lives in prison."
"He [Thabo Bester] has no respect for the law, for South Africa, or his victims."
We also spoke to one of Bester's victims Mathaba Khalanyane who is also an employee at Jacaranda FM.
