Saving money is extremely difficult, but you could end up making your dreams come true!
Fjatuwani, Brian, and Thami from Gauteng decided to make their dream a reality by attending the World Cup in Russia. The trio managed to save R60,000 to make the trip possible.
After following a strict and detailed five-year savings plan, Fjatuwani said on Twitter: “The first time we owned a TV set at home was when I had just turned 8 and I remember that the only programme we watched during that entire cold month of June was the FIFA world cup- France 98’ PS: Our village did not have electricity and the TV was connected via a generator.”
Martin Bester spoke to Fjatuwani about their World Cup journey on Breakfast this morning.
