Armed robbers shoot vehicle in dramatic chase in Gauteng

An attempted robbery in Pretoria resulted in dramatic footage being captured as armed robbers shot at a vehicle multiple times.
Dashcam footage of the incident shows two men driving in a bulletproof vehicle. Seconds afterwards, bullets can be seen hitting the windows as the two men in the vehicle remain calm and think of their next move - planning for survival.

In the video, one can hear the experienced driver saying: "They're going to shoot. They're going to f****** shoot." He continues by calmly saying: "Phone Robbie, phone Josh. Ask them where they are." Towards the end of the video, he safely stops the vehicle and takes the rifle from his partner in the passenger seat.

According to reports, the driver of the vehicle is a former member of the Police Special Task Force and currently an instructor at the security company, The Edge Shooting Academy, where he works.

According to its website, The Edge offers unit standard based training, as well as specialised training programmes that are needed by special units in both law enforcement and private security.
