Millions across the globe follow the Royal Highnesses on social media – and that is where Kubayi-Ngubane believes they will see the beauty of the country.
“Their fans are likely to come where they have been, including where they stayed, once it has been released. I expect a lot of people wanting to stay there and attend the restaurants.”
Kubayi-Ngubane invited journalists to the award-winning social enterprise, I Love Coffee, staffed by people who are deaf, in Cape Town on Monday.
The company trains and employs deaf youth to grow a coffee business.
She says the royal visit will rewrite history books.
“My anticipation is that there are many people who are going to interact with South Africa for the first time through their social media who never interacted with South Africa, where it is and what South Africa has to offer. By the fact that they will be posting that they are here – people are going to know about South Africa.”
