WATCH: World T20 - Faf, Domingo share their views

Unlike the high profile send-off enjoyed by teams that have gone before them, the Proteas made a low key departure for India on Thursday for the up-coming ICC World T20 Tournament.

Ideally they would have preferred to take some winning momentum into the tournament, but headed for the sub-continent following back to back defeats in the shortest format of the game by Australia on home turf.
Neither coach nor captain seemed to be plunged into mourning following successive defeats by the Aussies.
It was Domingo's stated intention before the start of the current series that this was an ideal platform to assess combinations
and give every player in the 15-man Proteas squad a run in the team.
That much he probably accomplished, but will still have a fair deal of head scratching to do on the plane to India and in the build-up to the tournament.
The South Africans will have a short period to fine tune once they have arrived on Indian soil on Friday, with a warm-up match against the host nation included in their build-up.
They get their camapaign underway against England on 18 March.
OPINION: Matchfixing remains issue as T20 kicks off
