Wallabies sweating over Folau's fitness
Updated | By AFP
Australia hope star full back Israel Folau will be ready to play Wales in their World Cup clash on Saturday but delayed naming their side to make sure.
Folau injured an ankle in the Wallabies' epic 33-13 defeat of England last Saturday but coach Michael Cheika said he still wants the rugby league convert for the Pool A top-of-the table decider.
"He hasn't run all week but he will today and physios are confident he will play. If he doesn't Kurtley Beale will replace him at fullback," Cheika said Thursday.
"I wanted to wait to name the team until after training as the bench will be very important to have strong finishers as Wales will play it down to the wire," Cheika told a press conference.
