Steyn at flyhalf as Bulls prepare for Lions clash
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Morne Steyn is set to play his 151st match for the Bulls when the team takes on the Lions in a United Rugby Championship match at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
The Bulls will be looking to do the double over their old foes after registering a 31-15 victory in Johannesburg during round one.
The Pretoria team will be looking for maximum points to elevate higher on the log whilst the visitors will be hoping to find
something that can give them hopes of a playoff spot.
Dylan Smith and WJ Steenkamp are the only changes made to the forwards’ pack by Bulls director Jake White, whilst Embrose Papier and Morne Steyn combine at halfback.
David Kriel moves into inside centre with Cornal Hendricks on his outside, as Wandisile Simelane starts at fullback. Speedster, Sbu Nkosi is joined by Sibongile Novuka on the wings, adding more pace to the lineup.
Bernard van der Linde is the only other addition to the match-day 23 that is set to feature from the impact squad, alongside the likes of Jan-Hendrik Wessels, Simphiwe Matanzima, Francois Klopper, Ruan Vermaak, Cyle Brink, Chris Smith and centre Harold Vorster.
