[LISTEN] Springbok class of '95 hails 2019 RWC victory

As South Africa prepares to welcome back their 2019 Rugby World Cup champions, a number of players who lifted the Web Ellis trophy in 1995 have hailed the Springboks' victory in Japan.

"Winning the world cup, that is the ultimate," says Kobus Wiese, who was a Springbok lock in the 1995 team.

Balie Swart was a tighthead prop in the 15-12 final of 1995.
"People talk about uniting - you only start to see if when you are working with 250 people picking berries and suddenly everybody is talking about a game that is coming," says Swart, who was busy with the berry harvest on his farm on Saturday.

Rudolf Straeuli, a former Springbok flanker, said: What a great victory for us -for the Springboks and the country. I think it was just what we needed."
