Craven Week Day 1 - Meet the 'Hero of the Day'

Sebastian Jobb from Griquas Country Districts has been named the Coca-Cola Hero of the day for day 1 of the U18 Coca-Cola Craven Week. Trevor Cramer spoke to him.
The prestigious Coca-Cola Hero of the Day award is presented on each day of the tournament in recognition of a game changing ‘hero’ moment.
Sebastian was selected for the award by a Coca-Cola appointed panel of rugby experts, led by Springbok legend Victor Matfield after he caught the ball off a kickoff, ran through the opposition and scored a try to help his team beat the Griffons for the first time even in the tournament.
"It is a massive honour for me to receive this award and to inspire people around me," said Sebastian after he receive his award.
Phindi Phiri, Coca-Cola South Africa’s Marketing Assets Manager said: “Congratulations to Sebastian for being chosen as the Coca-Cola Hero of the Day for day 1. The Coca-Cola Craven Week is where South Africa’s best, up and coming rugby players are identified – this is where heroes are made. For players like Sebastian this is hopefully just the beginning of a long and successful career in rugby.”
