Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that they have captured the signature of William Twala will join the club from Chippa United who have in turn obtained the services of David Zulu on a short term basis.
Twala is expected to add more firepower and depth to the wide attacking areas for Steve Komphela’s side.
The 25-year-old Johannesburg-born player was previously on the books of Bidvest Wits (juniors) and Orlando Pirates.
He played nearly every game for Chippa last season and has featured in 12 league matches for the Chilli Boys this season, five of those as a substitute, netting twice.
The news was confirmed on Chiefs’ official Twitter page: “We would like to confirm the signing of winger William Twala on a two-year deal from Chippa United,” the club said.
Amakhosi have also confirmed that striker Zulu will be allowed to join Chippa on a short term basis, Zulu having arrived at Chiefs from the Port Elizabeth-based club in the 2014/ 2015 campaign.
“David Zulu has rejoined Chippa United on a six months transfer,” the club confirmed. - ANA
