Youth Voices: Colby Mostert
Updated | By Laila Majiet
In the quest to diminish the fear of math and science, Colby
Mostert has taken on the mammoth task of calculating the fastest way to Mars -
a task far greater than his small stature.
The 12-year-old Shangri-La Academy pupil believes there are no limits in what one can do.
While he has not set a deadline for his work - he hopes to someday become the first person to land on Mars.
The avid scientist and math whiz kid began working on the calculations early last year.
He spoke to Laila Majiet about why he does it.
