Zulu: Covid-19 relief money must reach beneficiaries
Updated | By Neo Motloung
Minister of Social Development Lindiwe Zulu has warned that her department’s Covid-19 relief funds need to reach their intended beneficiaries.

Zulu told MPs on Thursday that her department received R50 billion from the government's R500 million Covid-19 relief fund.
The minister said 1.2 million food parcels have so far been distributed and some 6 million people have benefitted.
"The call we want to make those that receive such support from government please make sure that the money reaches those it is intended for, because the government has to account for money distributed.”
The minster was updating Parliament on her department's response to Covid-19.
