WATCH LIVE: Education ministers to brief the media

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga and Minister of Higher Education Blade Nzimande are expected to give more details on the opening of schools during a media briefing on Thursday.

The national lockdown will be eased on May 1 from level 5 to level 4 where some activities are expected to resume.
Schools across the country are tipped to reopen mid-May, with Pupils in grades 7 and 12 pupils expected to be the first to return to the classroom, followed by the other grades.
Most universities started online learning last week.
