Police in Limpopo have launched a manhunt for an unknown number of poachers who killed two rhinos.

The carcasses of the rhinos were found with their horns removed at a local game reserve in Thabazimbi.
The incident was reported to the police after one of the rangers discovered the two carcasses while on patrol on Tuesday morning.
Limpopo police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says the case was then transferred to the Stock Theft and Endangered Species Unit for further investigation.
"The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant-General Thembi Hadebe, has called upon police to use their available resources to track down the suspects and arrest them to face the full might of the law."
