Three arrested for Cape Town cop killing
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Three suspects have been arrested for killing a 30-year-old police constable in Nyanga, near Cape Town.

Police spokesperson Vish Naidoo says the officer was shot and killed while patrolling the area to ensure the adherence to lockdown measures.
Naidoo says the officers noticed an open spaza shop.
"They went in to investigate in terms of the Disaster Management Regulations when a man emerged from behind them and started shooting at the members. The constable was seriously wounded and she died later on.
Other police members fired shots at the fleeing suspect. He fell a short distance away from the scene and was taken to a medical facility. The 22-year-old suspect remains in hospital under police guard," says Naidoo.
Two other suspects, aged 24 and 28, were subsequently arrested.
