Suspected Sweetwaters gunmen to remain behind bars
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
The four suspects arrested in connection with the deadly tavern shooting in Pietermaritzburg's Sweetwaters area will remain behind bars.

All four appeared in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday, and were remanded in custody until 28 July for a formal bail application.
Four people died and eight others were wounded after gunmen stormed the tavern on 9 July.
Police in KwaZulu-Natal says the motive for the shooting has not yet been established.
Last week, police detained two men for questioning before releasing them.
The tavern's operating licence has since been suspended.
