Ramaphosa to attend inauguration of new Lesotho leader
Updated | By Mmangaliso Khumalo
President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Friday attend the inauguration of new Lesotho Prime Minister Samuel Matekane in Maseru.

A diamond millionaire, who scored a stunning breakthrough in nationwide elections in Lesotho earlier this month, has indicated that he would head a three-party coalition government.
Matekane confounded expectations that the southern African mountain kingdom would remain politically gridlocked after last Friday's ballot.
The inauguration follows last month's National Assembly elections.
"President Ramaphosa’s attendance is an expression of South Africa’s continued support for the Basotho and of the firm bonds and friendship between the two countries," the Presidency said in a statement on Friday.
