New-born abducted in KZN found in Mpumalanga

A northern KwaZulu-Natal mother is relieved after her abducted new-born was found.
The baby boy was stolen last week Tuesday, shortly after he and his 35-year-old mother left a hospital in Jozini.
Police say the mother met a woman outside the hospital who offered to carry her day-old baby before they all boarded a bus together.
They got off at a bus station, but the suspect disappeared with the infant while the mother was having something to eat.
Provincial police say intelligence was received on Wednesday that the suspect was in Ermelo in the Mpumalanga province.
The Jozini Child Protection Unit traced her to a clinic in the town, where she'd apparently gone to get a vaccination card for the baby.
She was arrested and the child reunited with his mother.
The 32-year-old suspect is expected to appear before the Ubombo Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
