MK MPLs to be sworn-in, party confirms
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
The Umkhonto Wesizwe party has confirmed its members will be sworn-in at the seven provincial legislatures on Friday.

The party has party representation in all the provinces except for Western Cape and the Northern Cape.
However, the party says it remains committed to challenging the election results, which it believes was rigged.
"Our commitment to challenging election rigging and fraud remains firm, the MK Party is unwavering in its pursuit to ensure that every vote reflects the true will of the people," the party said in a statement on Thursday.
"We continue to reject the hasty declaration of the 29 May 2024 election results, advocating for a fair and just process that respects the democratic rights of all citizens.”
The party will boycott the National Assembly sitting on Friday in protest, after accusing the Independent Electoral Commission of favouring the ANC.
