A 23-year-old man is expected to appear in Nebo Magistrate’s Court in Limpopo on Monday in connection with the murder of his 17-year-old girlfriend.

Police say the girl, who has been identified as Promise Tjatji, was apparently stoned to death during an argument.
Police spokesperson Mamphaswa Seabi says the man accused Tjatji of cheating on him after she received a phone call.
"The police were called and on arrival at the scene, the victim was found lying with fatal injuries,” says Seabi.
"The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit took over the case for further investigations. The suspect will face a charge of murder.”
