Limpopo boy (12) dies in suspected ritual killing

Limpopo police have launched a manhunt for an unknown number of suspects involved in the death of a 12-year-old boy.

Police suspect the boy died in a ritual killing.
Provincial police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says the boy’s body was discovered on Friday morning next to the local graveyard in Makgofe village.
"Police were immediately notified and reacted swiftly, and upon arrival at the scene, they found the lifeless body of this young boy with multiple injuries and some of the body parts missing.
"Preliminary police investigations revealed that the deceased was last seen last night going to relieve himself. The motive behind this incident may be ritual-related."
