KZN Premier Sihle Zikalala says government in the province is working on vaccination sites in all districts to ensure they are in a good state of readiness.

Providing an update to the media on COVID-19 and related matters on Sunday, he outlined the province's rollout plan.
He said they are putting a plan in place that will ensure that vaccines are rolled out faster when they become available.
"The province of KZN was already planning ahead based on the dates for the arrival of the vaccine as announced by the president and Health Minister."
"Our starting point is education and awareness and debunking the needs that unfortunately surrounded the vaccine. For us this will be an important race to save lives," he says.
He says the Provincial Command Council will present the full plan in the coming weeks, "Even as we go through this dark cloud we are confident about the silver lining that is coming up in the form of the vaccine. We are increasing our testing and screening capacity capabilities."
254 more people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died in South Africa. Forty of those fatalaties were from KZN.
