Hartswater triple murder suspects in court
Five suspects linked to the kidnapping and murder of Danie Brand (83), his wife Breggie (79) and their daughter Elzabe (50) appeared in the Hartswater Magistrate court on Thursday.
The bodies were found on Tuesday and Elzabe's body was found in Taung, North West.
Northern Cape NPA spokesperson Mojalefa Senokoatsane says the suspects face three counts of murder, robbery, and kidnapping.
"It is four men and one lady aged 18 years-old to 43," said Snokoatsane
The case was postponed to August 8th.
"We don't know whether they will apply for bail, the fourth suspect said she will be bringing a private attorney," said Snokoatsane.
He said the state plans to oppose bail.
