Gautrain bus drivers embark on 'illegal' strike
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Thousands of Gautrain bus commuters were left stranded on Tuesday morning due to a protest by bus drivers.
Gautrain spokesperson Kasagee Nayager says bus services are not operating - with the exception of Park Station and two buses in Midrand.
"Unfortunately due to unplanned illegal protest action by bus drivers the bus service is not operating at all stations except for Park Station and we only have two buses operating at the Midrand Station."

Nayager adds that train and midi-bus services are not affected by the strike.
"We will keep passengers updated and we urge those who are affected to make alternative arrangements."
