Gauteng Health MEC tests positive for Covid-19

Gauteng Health MEC Nomathemba Mokgethi is in self-isolation after testing positive for Covid-19.
Mokgethi tested positive on Wednesday.
Spokesperson for the provincial government Vuyo Mhaga says people who were in contact with the MEC must also self-isolate.
"MEC Mokgethi presented with mild symptoms before she went to test on Tuesday.
"All persons who were in contact with her have been advised to self-isolate and test, if necessary."
Mhaga added that Mokgethi will self-isolate for the next 10 days.
"MEC Mokgethi is not exhibiting any severe symptoms and will remain in isolation for the next 10 days.
"Today, the MEC participated in a virtual meeting of the executive council."
