Cold front to cloud large parts of the country
Updated | By Anastasi Mokgobu
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned that South Africans can expect showers as an intense cold front from the west makes sweeps over the east from Tuesday.

SAWS forecaster, Bransby Bulo, says various weather warnings and watches have been issued as the front approaches the Western Cape on Monday.
"We are also expecting showers in areas closer to Cape Town. By Tuesday, there is also a high chance of the cold front moving to parts of KwaZulu Natal and the eastern parts of the Eastern Cape," says Bulo.
Snow will also be falling over the high lying areas of the Western Cape by Tuesday afternoon.
When it comes to the interior, rain is forecast for the Vereeniging area in the south of Gauteng by late Tuesday.
Temperatures are expected to drop across Gauteng on Wednesday and Thursday.
